Baronfest—A Celebration of Major General Baron von Steuben at his Jersey Estate

Sunday, September 25, 2016, 1–5:00 pm

Join us for a birthday celebration of Major General Baron von Steuben's birthday at his Jersey Estate. The Zabriskie-Steuben House is the only extant building in the US that Steuben owned. Picket-fence Beer Garden, Music by the Long Hill String Band, Illustrated talk on Steuben at 2:30 pm. Mott's Artillery will be in the field with cannon. Reenactors from the 3rd NJ will be at New Bridge to answer questions about military life in the 18th century. Beer by Alementary Craft Beer of Hackensack. Experience an 18th century Tavern at the Campbell-Christie House. Tour three sandstone houses & barn. German fare food. Activities for children including large interactive canvas map showing obstacles for Washington & Cornwallis.

Admission: Adults $15, Students (12-20 yr) and BCHS members - $10.

Beer (12 oz) $5 - Photo ID required. Cash line moves faster. Food, beer - additional cost. Free parking is available or take the train on the Pascack Valley line.
