About the Speaker
Rhoda Miller, EdD, CG, has been a Certified Genealogist since 1998 specializing in Jewish research and Holocaust studies. Rhoda is a Past President of the Jewish Genealogy Society of Long Island (JGSLI) and continues her leadership as a board member. With JGSLI, she is co-author of the forthcoming Arcadia Images of America book to be titled Jewish Community of Long Island. Under Litvak SIG, Rhoda volunteers as Co-coordinator of the Svencionys District Research Group, administers a Svencionys DNA group, and is webmaster of the JewishGen Kahilalinks Orlya, Belarus website. At Dowling College, Rhoda teaches genealogy and Holocaust courses.
Important Parking Notice
The Ridgewood Police Department will begin tougher enforcement of the one-hour street parking on N. Maple Avenue in front of the Library. Parking limits are in effect Monday–Saturday, 7am–9pm. Parking tickets run $30 for each hour over the one-hour allotment. If you are joining us for a meeting, please use the parking lots behind the Ridgewood Public Library, next to the sports field.
