Please join us for "Music at the Barn," a free Sunday concert at the historic Wortendyke Barn in Park Ridge featuring the hard-rockabilly band The Slippery Chickens.

Barn concerts will take place on the last Sunday of the month July–October. The rest of the lineup includes:

* July 31, 4:00–6:30 p.m.: Doc Lane and Loose Change

* Aug. 28, 4:00– 6:30  p.m.: The hard rockabilly band The Slippery Chickens

* Sept. 25, 4:00–6:30 p.m.:  Dean Shot and the Solid Senders with J.B. Lawson playing jump blues

* Oct. 23, 1:00–3:30 p.m.:  "Blue Grass & Cider" — the sixth annual popular blue grass music celebration featuring Kenny Kosek on fiddle, Barry Mitterhoff on mandolin and Joe Selly on guitar

Limited seating is available. Please bring chairs, blankets, picnics & cool drinks!  Parking in the barn lot reserved for handicap parking. Plenty of parking available on the side streets and in the Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church parking lot located north of the Barn on Pascack Road.

MORE great music will be heard on Saturday, Oct. 15th (rain date Sunday, Oct. 16th) at the 52nd Annual Art in the Park Show & Concert  held at Van Saun County Park, Paramus. Featuring: The Detours, performing 12:30–3:30 pm.  The Detours, the blues band with Chris Mastakas on harmonica, guitarists/vocalists Adam Gustavson and Pete Margolis, bassist Phil Butler and drummer John Longo, wowed the audience at last year’s “Music at the Barn” concert series!
