The baptism of all children, except Severyn (1726) and a possible second Johannes can be found in Dutch Reformed Church, Kingston, NY.³ Jacobus Bruyn Jr. made a will on 27 June 1744. It was proved 12 Sep 1745.^4,5
NOTE: Johannes is mentioned last in Jacobus' 1744 will, which would point to him being the youngest son. However, while possible, it seems unlikely there are two sons named Johannes, one dying before 1744, and one in 1755. Bergen Families (Brown/Bruyn File) does not connect the Johannes, who married Mary Schoonmaker to Jacobus. Thus, either the sons are listed out of order, or there is a son Johannes, younger than Severyn, who may or may not have married Mary Schoonmaker. The Courtright Book does NOT have Mary as first married to Johannes.^2,4,6,7
