In 1910 the family is living in Montvale, NJ and his occupation is listed as machinist. Only he and wife "Hattie" appear on the Census. By the 1920 Census they have moved to Washington Township, NJ, and a daughter, Bessie, age 23 is living at home, and working as a bank stenographer. A 10-year old boy named John C Owen, is listed as "staying here".
