David was the son of Issac De Forest, removed from Stratford in 1693, married Martha, daughter of Samuel Blagge, son of Capt. Benjamin Blagge, of NY in 1996, and settled in Stratford, CT, where they covenanted with the church in 7 Aug 1721.
