     Arthur J Duffy was born on 12 January 1922.² He married (1) Audrey Zimmerman, daughter of Harry J. Zimmerman.¹ Arthur J Duffy married (2) Florence Matthews.¹ Arthur J Duffy died on 26 March 1999 at Bergenfield, Bergen County, NJ.¹ He was buried in Greenfield Cemetery in Hempstead.¹

     Surviving, besides his wife, are six daughters: Audrey (Ussher), Joan (Lord), Judy (Manzi), Sharon (Alicea), Betty (Treloar) and Jeanette (Zaccaria), four sons: Arthur, James, Joseph and John and a brother Patrick. Three sisters, Margaret (Magistro), Elizabeth (Geraci) and Dorothy (Malara) predeceased him.¹

     J.B.C Dulfer was born on 18 May 1821 at Rotterdam, Zuid Holland, The Netherlands, (erkenning ouders op 09-07-1824; kind heette hiervoor Johannes Bernardus Koenraad Vreeven.)^2,3 He married (1) Elizabeth Dulfer.⁴ J.B.C Dulfer married (2) Johanna Henkes in 1880.⁵ He died on 23 February 1886 at Little Ferry, NJ.^1,6

     His parents were Jan Ekhart Dulfer and Geertrui Elizabeth Vreeven.³
     He was registered (as Johannes Bernardus Coenraad Dulfer) in Leiden at Rapenburg 221 sometime between 1854 and 1861. He was a servant, and he was of the Dutch Reformed religion.⁷

     Catharine Dumond was baptized on 10 March 1767 at Kaatsbaan, NY.^1,2 She married (1) John Baptiste Dumond Jr, son of Jan Baptiste Dumond and Margriete Van Orden.¹ Catharine Dumond married (2) Teunis Van Denbergh on 21 January 1795 (or 24 Jan 1795.)¹ Catharine Dumond married (3) Henry DeWitt, son of Evert DeWitt and Gertrude Persen, in 1796.^1,3 Catharine Dumond died on 14 February 1855.¹

     Teunis was from Bethlehem.¹ Catharine Dumond made a will. It was probated in 1856. Married name: Dumond. Married name: Van Denbergh. Married name: DeWitt.

     Catherine Dumond was baptized on 26 August 1764.¹ She married Jacob Van Benschoten, son of Johannes Van Benschoten and Sarah Rapellye, on 1 May 1785.^1,2

     The children are buried in Old Hurley Cemetery. Their names are inscribed on a single monument, children of Cornelius Dumond and Eveline. The monument does not say that Cornelius and Eveline are buried there also.²
     Find-a-grave has a burial for Cornelius Dumont married to Eveline Elmendorf, but in Wiltwyck Cemetery in Kingston. Cornelius is b. in 1856, Eveline's dates are 1860-1906.³
     This Cornelius (b. Jul 1855) is in the 1900 census with wife Eveline (b. 1840 b. NY), and children Maud (21 b. NY),
Georganna (19 b. NY), and Raymond (4 b. NY) in Ulster Township, Election Districts 1, 4, Ulster County, NY. He is in the 1880 census with just his daughter Maud.⁴
     Considering the big space between Georganna and Raymond it is certainly possible that the four children buried in Old Hurley Cemetery are theirs.

     David Dumond was baptized on 9 April 1769.¹ He married Mary Delamater.¹

     Egbert Dumond was baptized on 17 September 1732.¹ He married Margaret Elmendorf, daughter of Jacobus Elmendorf and Ariantje Nieukerk, on 9 March 1760.¹

     Egbert Dumond was a ship's captain.¹ Name variation: Capt. Egbert Dumond.¹

     Eliza Dumond was born on 5 July 1827.¹ She was baptized on 4 August 1830.¹

     Elizabeth Dumond was born on 31 May 1789.¹ She married Jan Langendyck on 12 October 1806.¹

     Harmonus Dumond was born circa 1732.² He married Janneke Brink, daughter of Lammert Brink and Rachel Dumond, on 31 January 1761.² Harmonus Dumond died on 27 August 1778.²

     The homes of Harmonius and Peter were burned by Indians. Harmonus was shot when mistaken for a Tory by Schohary Rangers.^2,3

     Harmonus Dumond was baptized on 1 November 1778.¹ He married Mary Dumond, daughter of Igenes Dumond and Ariantie Winne, on 3 June 1799.¹

     Igenas Dumond was baptized on 26 May 1701.¹ He married Catherine Schuyler, daughter of David Schuyler, on 13 November 1725.¹ Igenas Dumond died in September 1737.¹
