John Van Blarcom was born on 7 July 1751 at Franklin Twp, Bergen County, NJ.^2,4 He was baptized at Paramus, Bergen County, NJ.⁴ He married Rebecca DeBow, daughter of Ryer Tibouw DeBow and Abigail DeBaun, on 23 September 1770.^1,4 John Van Blarcom died on 31 March 1829 at Wyckoff, Bergen County, NJ.^2,4 He was buried in Union Cemetery in Wyckoff.^5,6
